Dora has had a passion for travel since a young girl when her family vacationed on the West coast. She grew up on the east coast, has lived in the midwest, and calls Nashville home.
Dora has worked designing custom trips for individuals, couples, and family groups for over 20 years and founded Destination Travel in 2004. She personally hosted and escorted large groups (60+ people) on land based trips and cruises annually for 10 + years.
Destination Travel has since refined its focus to the discerning traveler as a boutique travel firm. From honeymoons to anniversary trips, and custom travel, Dora has the experience and expertise to design a trip that takes into consideration all elements, from when you leave your house until you return. Her extensive personal travel experience and trusted global network of partners provides her clients with first hand knowledge of cruise lines, hotels, resorts, countries, and transportation. This will help ensure your travel experience is second to none.
Dora has earned Certified Travel Counselor (CTC ), Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Luxury certification, and Well-Being certification from The Travel Institute. She is an active member of The Travel Institute and is affiliated with Travel Leaders consortia.
In 2018, Dora was honored to be recommended and accepted as a Distinctive Voyage Host (DV) for the Travel Leaders Network. And in 2019, she was nominated to the Travel Advisors of the Mid-South (formerly, Travel Agents of TN) Board of Directors as Secretary and continued to serve on the Executive Board until December 2022.
